We sell a wide variety of custom and designer carpets, and Shaw is our manufacturer of choice. For one Lawrenceville home we laid a 25 oz. carpet from Shaw Industries over a heavier than standard 8 lb pad. That upgrade costs very little and you feel it every time you walk across the room.

Vinyl, LVP and LVT
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), Luxury Planks (LVP), sheet vinyl and VCT, installed and repaired.
Vinyl gives you the look of tile or wood without the expense, and it is incredibly durable, which is great for families with young children. For offices and high-traffic floors we install VCT, the commercial tile that gets waxed and buffed.

Laminate and Engineered Hardwood
Premium laminate and engineered hardwood, including hand scraped engineered hardwood, sold and installed.
Laminate gives you the look of hardwood without spending a small fortune. Engineered hardwood brings the real thing. Either way, the boards are dropped off to acclimate and our crew comes back to lay them, so the floor stays flat and tight for years.

Tile, Rubber and Prep Work
Tile installation and sales, rubber flooring for your workout and exercise room, and the prep work that every floor depends on.
Rubber flooring comes as both rubber tiles and rubber rolls. Before any floor goes down we handle floor leveling and floor preparation so your new floors look and function properly, and we take care of squeak removal while the old floor is up.

Carpet repair and restretching

A floor is only as good as what is underneath it.
Before any carpet goes down we assess the subfloor: the holes where nails were removed, the cracks and the expansion joints. All of those get filled with a patching compound, and our personal preference is MAPEI. Many times a second and third coat is needed because the compound shrinks as it dries. Then a final sanding or scraping and a final sweep.
Seams get the same care. We run a row down the carpet to separate the yarn tufts before cutting, because a poorly cut row is one of the main reasons carpet seaming fails to look good.

David Dick began installing floors in 1989 and has thousands of projects to add to his portfolio. He started on commercial floors for mid level and high-end projects and what seems to be every high rise in Atlanta, Buckhead, and Marietta. After 20 years of installing for other companies and people, he got married to a very loving woman with 4 children, and started a flooring installation business under what was then called David Dick DBA Pride-N-Mine Flooring. The high quality installs he performed personally led to a work overload, which has now evolved into Pride N Mine Flooring LLC.

Myles Trucking in Lawrenceville wanted a new look for their lobby, hallways and general office area. They asked us to design a custom VCT floor that resembles a roadway, so everyone visiting the office sees what their business is about.
